Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our apps on devices you own or control, for your own purposes. App store distribution is additionally governed by the terms of the store you downloaded from.
What you may not do
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract our source code, except where the law expressly permits it.
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute our apps.
- Use the site or apps to break the law, or to interfere with their operation for others.
Maintenance guidance is not professional advice
PadPing provides general maintenance schedules, typical equipment lifespans and cost estimates for informational purposes. They are general figures, not an inspection of your home, and they are not a substitute for a qualified professional. Costs and intervals vary by region, equipment and condition. You are responsible for the maintenance decisions you make about your property, including anything involving gas, electrical, structural or water systems, where we strongly recommend a licensed professional.
Your data
PadPing stores your information on your device. We do not hold a copy and cannot restore it if your device is lost, reset, or the app is deleted. Keep your own records of anything you can't afford to lose. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue the site or any app at any time. We aim to give reasonable notice of anything that would remove functionality you rely on, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Our website and apps are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, property damage or costs arising from maintenance decisions you make. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or US$50.
Governing law
